Student Clubs Under OIA
There are two student clubs under OIA(Office of International Affairs) for international students. One is Mentors Club and the other is Yonsei Global.
Mentors Club
Introduction
★ Born to be GLOBAL ★
Founded in 2002, Mentors Club is one of the largest and oldest clubs at Yonsei University interacting with exchange and visiting students.
Activities

Buddy Program
- Through this program, international students are paired with Yonsei students to learn more about Korea and share ideas through a personalized relationship with their buddies.
- Cell Meeting
- Buddies' Night
- -Buddies' Night is a welcome party for all the international students in Yonsei. Before the party, students will get a chance to mingle with Korean mentors in traditional dinner places.

Dae Dong Jae(대동제) in Spring & Yon-Ko Jeon(연고전) in Fall
- In Spring(May) and Fall(Sep or Oct), Dae Dong Jae and Yon-Ko Jeon, the two most distinguishable school festivals, are being held.
- In Dae Dong Jae, Mentors Club holds a special ‘club party’ with fabulous DJ group on the Baek Yang Road, the main road in Yonsei Campus. In this event, international students in Mentors Club will have the chance to take part in planning and making the party with other Yonsei mentors. In Fall, Mentors Club guides international students all the way through Yon-Ko Jeon from cheering to watching sports leagues against Korea University.
- Buddy MT, Picnic Day
- -In April, international students can have a unique Korean Membership Training (MT) experience. In the rental cottage, students can enjoy Korean drinking games and BBQ party.

Yonsei Global
Introduction
Since its foundation in 2003, it has been functioning as a bridge to a more satisfying life in Yonsei and in Korea as a whole for many exchange and international students.

FSK (First Step to Korea)
First Step to Korea is an orientation provided by the Office of International Affairs for exchange students who are fresh off the boat, along with any other international students who are not yet familiar with the daily life in Korea and also in Yonsei. Through this program, various information and tips on living in Korea and attending Yonsei are provided. During this orientation, student can also learn Yonsei cheering “Akaraka” which will be helpful to fully enjoy the “Yon-Ko Games”.
- GD (Global Day) is where participants can experience a designated country’s food, culture, language and more through various activities. Global Day is a representative event that helps Yonsei university students actively interact with other cultures and broaden their perspective on the world and is held regularly twice a year.

- FLC (Free Language Class) offers you an opportunity to learn foreign languages with other classmates.
- KMA (Korean Music and Art) is a program that provides exchange students with chances to experience Korean traditional fusion music and art.
- GM (Game Maniac) is the program that provides exchange students with a chance to experience Korean game culture.
- TS (Tasty Sinchon) is a program which introduces trendy Korean restaurants near Sinchon and learn about the different cuisines.
- LE (Language Exchange) is a one-on-one matching program where you can exchange language and culture with other Yonsei students.
- LS (Leisure Sports) is a program where exchange students and Yonsei students can bond and build teamwork through sports activities.
- OS (One Shot) is a program that provides exchange students with a chance to visit popular sites in Korea and take beautiful pictures.
- KPD (K-Pop Dancing Class) ) is a program where you can learn K-Pop dance moves from an experienced instructor.
- KCC (Korean Cooking Class) is a program which you can learn from the expert chef how to cook Korean dish.
- KMN (Korean Movie Night) is a program where you can have a movie night with friends and learn some Korean cultures through movies.
- MT (Membership Training) is a program where students carry out group bonding activities through games and drinking at a separate location.

Major Student Clubs
Some of the student clubs require more than a 2-semester commitment due to the rules of major student clubs. If you are an exchange student and stay at Yonsei for less than a year, Student Clubs under OIA, Mentors Club & Yonsei Global, might be a good option. Otherwise, please do explore/inquire about club membership qualifications during the student club fair(in Spring/Fall) in person.

- STEP3: Participate in OT(Orientation) & Activities & MT(Membership Training)
Student Clubs by Category
Most of the major student club rooms are located in the Student Union Building(학생회관) or Auditorium(대강당). There are clubs whose founding date is in the 1920s such as Yonsei Hiking Club to newly established clubs in 2015. You can find further information at Yonsei Student Club Association website[Korean].

Foreign Student Association
There are lots of Foreign Student Associations at Yonsei University. International students can network and communicate with other Yonsei students by joining in these clubs.
